Nordix EAP: Active Safety for High-Power Micromobility
Nordix EAP is a plug-and-play hardware module for high-power electric scooters. It provides real-time throttle signal smoothing to eliminate unpredictable power surges in factory motor controllers. Zero latency. 100% fail-safe.
The Problem
Factory throttles on high-power electric scooters have excessive sensitivity at the beginning of travel and wide deadzones at the extremes. This forces the rider to continuously micro-manage the throttle when moving at low speeds, reducing control over the vehicle and creating a safety hazard.
The Solution
Nordix EAP acts as an active safety interceptor between the throttle and the e-scooter motor controller. The device performs real-time mathematical processing of the Hall-effect sensor signal. The linear response is transformed into a smooth exponential curve, ensuring predictable and precise speed modulation for high-performance micromobility.
Throttle Response Curve
The device architecture is universal. It optimizes the performance of any high-power controllers with an aggressive linear throttle response curve.
Technical Specifications
From Prototype to Series
Nordix EAP is a ready-made industrial solution. We have successfully completed the production of the first micro-series, confirming the repeatability of the technological process and the stability of each module.
Quality Control (QC)
Each device in the series undergoes a 24-hour stress test and deterministic output verification.
Industrial Execution
Multi-layer PCBAs with conformal coating for operation in high vibration and extreme temperature conditions.
Plug & Play Integration
Non-destructive installation designed specifically for the high-power micromobility segment.
100% Fail-Safe Architecture
Total physical and electrical isolation from the native braking system. EAP cannot interfere with emergency stops. Defaults to factory protocols upon power loss.
Edge Telemetry
Sovereign MQTT logging with a companion Android app. Monitor throttle response curves in real-time via Grafana.
