Nordix EAP: Active Safety for High-Power Micromobility

Hardware-level signal smoothing to eliminate unpredictable power surges in 6-step square-wave controllers. Zero latency. 100% fail-safe.

The Problem

Factory throttles on high-power electric scooters have excessive sensitivity at the beginning of travel and wide deadzones at the extremes. This forces the rider to continuously micro-manage the throttle when moving at low speeds, reducing control over the vehicle and creating a safety hazard.

The Solution

The module performs real-time mathematical processing of the signal from the Hall-effect sensor. The linear response is transformed into an exponential curve, ensuring smooth, predictable, and precise modulation of power and speed.

Throttle Response Curve

Factory (Linear)
Nordix EAP (Exponential)
Throttle Position (Trigger Pull) Power Output

The device architecture is universal. It optimizes the performance not only of 6-step controllers but also of any high-power controllers with an aggressive linear throttle response curve.

Plug & Play Integration

Non-destructive installation designed specifically for the high-power micromobility segment.

100% Fail-Safe Architecture

Total physical and electrical isolation from the native braking system. EAP cannot interfere with emergency stops. Defaults to factory protocols upon power loss.

Edge Telemetry

Sovereign MQTT logging with a companion Android app. Monitor throttle response curves in real-time via Grafana.
